Andy’s Epic Fail

Andrew Schlafly (and about a gazillion other people) have their profiles up on, which is all well and fine – although they really need to work on their criteria for inclusion… unless “spawn of Mother Schlafly” counts as noteworthy.

What is fun, however, is that it’s grouped together a bunch of people who have worked on the Harvard Law Review over the years. It’s hardly a full list of everybody involved in the HLR since 1887, but the 39 names listed there make for some impressive reading… well, nearly all of them.

In the list, we have:

  • 1 President (Obama),
  • 5 US Supreme Court Judges (and 4 other judges),
  • 1 Secretary of State,
  • 1 Homeland Security Czar,
  • 1 Solicitor General,
  • 1 Deputy Attorney General,
  • 1 White House Counsel,
  • CNN’s Senior Legal Analyst,
  • 2 University Presidents (Rice & Utah),
  • President of the ACLU
  • 3 CEOs
  • and a bunch of law firm partners.

And then we get Andrew Schlafly… “Conservapedia founder”. This man has two degrees from two top universities (paid for by Mummy) and that is the best he has to offer? His Mummy must be so proud.

About PsyGremlin

PsyGremlin is a former Conservapedia sysop (although the position was earned nefariously), stand up comedian, DJ, and is currently a self-employed financial adviser, who impersonates a responsible adult at least 5 days a week. However, highlighting and poking fun at the crazies out there remains his first love. Well besides pork crackling. And custard. And cricket.

HAHAHAHA that is funny. For a man that had such a great head start in life, it would be sad what he has become if he was not such a dick while doing it.

I notice Andrew is one of several Schlaflys that did law at Harvard, rather like the Kennedys. Do you think they fancied themselves the right-wing Kennedys at some point, but failed to get any political traction?

I like this list Evolution Skeptics, multiple religion and politician, only one biologist.

  3. cpmonitor says:

wait… a biologist who doubts evolution? that’s a new one – where’d he get his degree – Oral Roberts? Oh, it’s Behe, ’nuff said. It’s an interesting list, however, and certainly gathers the usual wingnuts in one easy to find place – I see ken Ham (?) hasn’t made the list. Ha! Ha! Ben Stein – “game show host” – goes to show what think of his career as a film maker.
    Good find, Mr 3.14.

    — A member of the US Supreme Court is called a “Justice” (e.g. Justice Anthony Kennedy)
    — Likewise, the head of the Department of Homeland Security is called the Secretary of Homeland Security. “Czar” is not even used informally.

I understand that you’re not a US resident but I feel compelled enough to point it out anyway.
