Dear Harold Camping Part 2

Well, well, well… according to my calendar today is 22 October 2011… and we’re all still here.

To quote the raving maniac and likely fraud (then again, aren’t all evangelical ministers frauds, out to fleece the gullible?):

“The great earthquake and rapture and the universe melting in fervent heat will be happening on the last day – October 21 2011.”

Um… yeah. Didn’t quite happen that way, did it Harold?

What will your explanation be this time? It’s also interesting to note that apparently Family Radio have been directed not to talk to the press and the phone goes straight to voice mail.

I’d like to think that Camping’s followers will finally realise they’ve been taken for a ride – especially those who sold their homes, took children out of school, and gave up their assets – and storm Family Radio, stringing him up by his wrinkly neck from the nearest lamppost.

Sadly, where religion is concerned, stupidity knows no bounds, and I have a feeling we’ll hear from this conman again.

About PsyGremlin

PsyGremlin is a former Conservapedia sysop (although the position was earned nefariously), stand up comedian, DJ, and is currently a self-employed financial adviser, who impersonates a responsible adult at least 5 days a week. However, highlighting and poking fun at the crazies out there remains his first love. Well besides pork crackling. And custard. And cricket.

One Response to Dear Harold Camping Part 2

  1. Gillian says:

Ha ha ha ha I have come to loath these religious nutters, they seem to want the earth to be destroy by their “imaginary friend” yet never seem to understand the laws of nature. The earth will end in about 4 billion years time…..Harold camping has comitted fraud to the idiots of the religious movement. In science you question everything, in religion, it seems, you follow a mental ill person.
